A Trip to Paris, France

March 8, 2025- March 11, 2025

It’s spring break and somehow I have lived in Rome, Italy for almost two years and have yet to find my way to Paris, France. That ends today.

I had always envisioned traveling to Paris, France with my mom because I imagined it being the perfect place to go for a mother- daughter trip, and I could not have been more right.

Although it felt like most of our time was spent running around the city trying to find our way and gather our bearings in this busy city, there were so many more memorable moments spent summiting the Eiffel Tower, admiring the art in The Louvre, and leisurely strolling past the Arc de Triumph with a crepe in hand.

Paris was the kind of place that happened to be exactly as I expected in the best way possible. While I was getting ready for this trip I was preparing for a lot of walking, but also delicious pastries, grand architecture, and beautiful art. It turned out to be full of all those amazing things and more.

The overall highlight of this trip, besides getting to experience with my mom, has to be the time we spent viewing and touring the Eiffel Tower from below and on the actual tower itself.

I was prepared to enjoy seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time, but nothing could have prepared me for how it was in person. The pictures never seemed to do it justice, and I was awestruck at how much bigger the tower was in person. I was even more awestruck when I got to the top of the tower and got the see the panoramic view of Paris from its highest point.

Of course, the Louvre is a must see during your trip to Paris. Although, there are many iconic paintings and sculptures that are well worth meandering your way to in this museum, I found the pieces of work that received less attention in the utter areas of the museum to be just as fascinating.

Every monument in Paris is genuinely worth seeing. Each piece of architecture is unique in it’s own way which is something I found particularly charming about Paris. Everything seemed to have it’s own kind of characteristics that separated it from others that made each experience more interesting than the one before.

There are so many stops in Paris that everyone should make during their visit, but it may a little difficult depending on how long you are spending in the city because I noticed during my stay at that all the things I wanted to see are more scattered across the city than I had thought. However, regardless of their location I still managed to see all the iconic stops I had on my bucket list in the three-ish days I was there.

Paris, France is a classic European destination to add to your travels. Although expensive, there are always ways to find cheaper means of traveling throughout any of your adventures.
