I started 2025 off with a spectacular trip to Prague in the Czech Republic which simultaneously served as my 20th country I have visited!
Once returning to Europe after a long winter break back in the States, I was eager to get back into my traveling adventures, and Prague, as many other places I have visited, was a lovely “welcome back” to Europe.
For starters, this trip was nothing too fancy. I went on this trip with absolutely no plans because 1. It was my first international trip traveling with a group of friends, so I didn’t know what to expect, and 2. Since there were more people on this trip I knew everyone else’s “must-see” destinations would align with mine, so I kind of left the ball in everyone else’s court for once and went with the flow.

My favorite excursions of this trip was visiting the Prague Astronomical Clock in the Old Town district. This clock tower was more of a work of art than it was a clock tower because although it rang out every hour, the intricate details of the architecture, decor, and surrounding buildings had me mesmerized.
The best part of the clock tower is that you are able to climb to the very top to get one of the best views of Prague from above the buildings! It is a very family friendly climb despite what it may look like from down below, so I would definitely recommend not missing out on the opportunity to see Prague from this point of view.

One of the most fascinating parts of Prague was how beautiful it seemed to be everywhere I looked. From it’s old bridges, colorful homes, bright storefronts, ancient towers, and even its dark cobbled streets, there was so much beauty literally around every corner.
Prague seemed to be a place for everyone regardless if they are interested in touristy destinations or a calm weekend getaway because I had just as much fun strolling through the streets window shopping, drinking hot drink from the markets, or stopping to eat one of Prague’s most amazing and sweet delights, the chimney cake.
One year and 20 countries later, and I finally landed in the Czech Republic. If you are interested in seeing more about my trip to Prague, please check out my Youtube Video on my YouTube Channel where I post vlogs documenting all of my traveling adventures.
